Quedas de Kalandula ( Kalandula falls )
Formerly known as Duque de Bragança falls, Kalandula Falls or Quedas de Kalandula as called by the natives are in the beautiful municipality of Kalandula, Malanje Province, Angola. As it happens to be the fearless, courageous and famous Queen N’zinga Mbande an my moms as well born province in the north of Angola on the Lucala river. The falls are 105 meters ( 344 ) feet and 400 meters ( 1,300 ) feet wide which makes it one of the largest waterfalls by volume in Africa.
The Kalandula falls constitute constitutes a fascinating attraction in the province of Malange and contributes with a large numbers of tourists visiting the province, the magestic beauty can be visited with a help of a tour guider. The sensational moment with water drops falling and the espetacular sound of it makes the visit a momentum which will be remembered for the rest of your lives although the cameras cannot capture the eco of the water crashing with the rocks.
Angola really has an enormous potential that is unknown for many so don’t miss the chance to visit and explore this beautiful site.
