Tundavala Gap ( Fenda da Tundavala )

  Hey my loyal people
Good morning and I hope you all had a good weekend.
Here is your Boy Wandile, today I bring you one more of Angolan 7 wonders.

Tundavala Gap ( Fenda da Tundavala )
Is a view point in the rim of the great escarpment called Serra da Leba. It is located some 18 km from the city of Lubango in Huila, Angola.

The escarpment marks the western limit of Bié plateau. The altitude at the rim exceeds 2200 m, while the plain below is approximately 1200 m lower, which creates a rather impressive view encompassing a distance of tens of kilometers.
The scenery around Lubango is fantastic, it’s a very special and unique feeling. The top of Tundavala is covered with grasslands and with weird rocks until it hits the edge of the cliff. The escarpment is vertically plunging down to the plain of Bibala the town we clearly see from the bottom, it is so close and so far at the same time one kilometer of vertical drop and a few kilometers in the bush if I was I bird.
