Hello my people, has been a while hey... we back again with one more of the 7 Angolan wonders.
Today we embark to the exclave of Angola called Cabinda. Cabinda is a province in the north of Angola bordered by DRC, Republic of Congo and the Atlantic Ocean.
Maiombe forest ( floresta do Maiombe )
The Maiombe forest constitute one of the biggest attractions in Cabinda. You get to Maiombe following the north road of the province passing by Futila, Andana, Buco Zau, and Belize. The reserve forest it’s a paradise for the lovers with a vegetation and 50 m tall trees and pau-preto, ebano, and the African sandalo, Maiombe hides a number of valuable wood trees.
Maiombe is one of the biggest natural reserve of the world, one of Angolans 7 wonders is the lung of the country stage of various folklores and populares histories. They have more than 250 thousands hectares of vegetation, here you breed pure air, the reserve boarders with DRC, Luali river, Inhuca river, both rivers cross in the south of the forest. Maiombe has the power to amaze any visitors who passes by, beautiful landscapes and infinite green magnificent that made the forest his habitat fill the heart of everyone make the eyes shine, inspire and breeds natural. Animals like Gorillas, Chimpanzees, Elephants and rare Birds makes this place an authentic paradise. Thr Landana pantano ( Lake ) is the perfect place for a spectacle of Birds, Pelicans and Flamingos, the fauna embraces everything, extensive vegetation and rich in animals. Who doesn’t want to discover the natural charm of this part of a beautiful Angolan province called Cabinda.
